New York LLC publication
New York LLC publication. Handled.
New York requires most newly formed LLCs to complete a six-week newspaper publication process. We handle the newspapers, affidavits, and state filing for one flat price.
Many LLC owners don't learn about publication until a bank, accountant, or business partner asks whether it's been completed. We handle the process from record verification through state filing, then email you the filed proof.
The rule is Section 206 of the Limited Liability Company Law: the notice runs once a week for six weeks in two newspapers designated by the clerk of the county where your LLC's office is located, one daily and one weekly, and the proof is filed with the Department of State within 120 days of your Articles of Organization taking effect.
What we do
We check the state record first. We pull your LLC up in the Department of State record and build the notice from that record, exactly as the state holds it. If the record shows your publication was already filed, we refund you in full and send you the record. It happens more often than people expect.
We place the notice in the right two newspapers. The county clerk designates the papers, one daily and one weekly. Publication in any other paper counts for nothing, so we confirm the designation for your county before anything is placed, and we confirm both prices in writing before we pay.
The notice runs for six weeks. One insertion a week for six successive weeks in each paper. We track both runs week by week.
We collect both affidavits. After the run, each paper issues a sworn affidavit of publication. We check each one against the state record, name first. If a paper gets your name wrong, the paper fixes it at its cost.
We file the proof and send it to you. We file the Certificate of Publication with the Department of State, with expedited handling, and email you the filed proof when the state confirms it.

INFLOWSHEET TECHNOLOGIES LLC
Notice of formation of Inflowsheet Technologies LLC. Articles of Organization filed with the Secretary of State of New York (SSNY) on October 13, 2026. Office location: Albany County. SSNY has been designated as agent of the LLC upon whom process against it may be served. SSNY shall mail a copy of any process to the LLC, 350 Northern Blvd, Suite 324-1088, Albany, New York 12204. Purpose: any lawful activity.
A specimen, built from a real public record: an Albany County LLC formed on October 13, 2026. Every notice we place is built the same way, from the state record, word for word.
The price
$399. Start to finish.
One price for the standard job, whether your LLC is already on Albany County or we move it there first (see County and cost). The price includes:
One condition, in plain words: if the designated Albany papers' confirmed prices ever break the cost cap the flat price is built on, we requote the job in writing before placing anything, and if you do not accept the requote you may cancel for a full refund. We never place first and explain later.
The $399 covers LLCs formed in New York. An LLC formed in another state that must publish in New York is quoted per job, and its 120 days run from its New York Application for Authority, not from its formation.
| Item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| State record verified | We check your LLC against the Department of State record before anything is placed |

| Affidavits collected | Both affidavits of publication, checked against the state record |
| Certificate filed with New York State | The Certificate of Publication filing, including the state's $50 fee, the Certificate of Change fee if the Albany route is used, and expedited handling |
| Filed proof delivered by email | The filed proof, emailed to you when the state confirms it |
Payment is by card, in full, when you order.
We collect a short intake at the same time, including your authorization for us to sign and file the certificate as your LLC's authorized person. The full terms are on the terms page.
What is included, and what isn't
The price table above lists what the $399 covers. It does not cover these:
- Publishing in a high-cost county at your request. If your county is one where newspaper charges run high and you want to publish there anyway, we quote that job from the papers' live prices before anything is placed, and show it next to the $399 Albany route so you can choose. Nothing is placed until you accept a quote.
- Changing your county back afterward. If we moved your LLC's county on the record to Albany County to publish, it can be changed back after publication for an $89 add-on. Many owners leave it. Publication stays valid either way.
- Advice. We are a filing service. We cannot tell you whether to form, dissolve, amend, or sue, and we cannot advise on what suspension means for any contract of yours. Those questions are for your attorney.
- Tax filings. We never prepare or file tax forms, and we will never ask for your income figures.
Already past the deadline?
You are not alone, and the state has a cure. If the 120 days have passed, your LLC's authority to carry on business in New York stands suspended until the proof is filed. Filing late annuls the suspension. There is no additional state late-filing penalty specified under Section 206. The job is the same job, at the same $399. The deadline page explains what suspension does and does not do, in plain words.
